Recently, a Kenyan customer come to our factory and order a charcoal machine. Here, I would like to tell you about the common problems of setting up a formal charcoal machine production line.

1. How much raw material can produce a ton of charcoal?

3.5-4 tons raw materials with water content of 30-40% can produce a ton of finished mechanical charcoal. The raw materials mentioned here are materials that have not been dried. There is requirements on raw materials humidity (usually between 6% and 12%) during the process of the producing mechanical charcoal. The raw metarial with high humidity shall be dried by air flow dryer or roller dryer. After drying, the 2.2-2.8 tons of raw material can produce 1 ton of mechanical charcoals.

What is the floor space of the charcoal machine?The whole set of charcoal machine includes: grinder, dryer, bar making machine, charcoal furnace, small charcoal machine occupies an area of 20-30 square meters, users can choose the working site according to their own conditions.

3. What are the requirements of the plant?Known by above, the equipment covers an area of 20-30 square meters. We suggest that the client build a simple plant of 60-80 square meters with a height of more than 4 meters.

4. What is the differences between mechanical charcoal and ordinary charcoal?Mechanical charcoals are produced through special processes, in which harmful substances have been purified, so the finished product is smokeless and non-toxic. In addition, it is higher than ordinary charcoal in terms of carbon content, density and calorific value, and the burning time is 3 times longer than that of ordinary charcoal.
